For the first time in a hundred years, this April marks an entire month of 420! For those blissfully unaware of canna-culture, the date 4/20 corresponds to the numerical code for marijuana. Although the origins of this number are hazy, pop culture has kept this tradition alive for many years. This year proves no different, with an entire month dedicated to this iconic number. Unfortunately, many canna-enthusiasts are unable to celebrate this special day due to the COVID-19 pandemic sweeping the globe! We decided to share one of our unique experiences and throw it back to the days we worked with a canna-tech platform.
The company we worked with was called Wollstra Tech, and they had built a platform called Simplifiya. This platform was backed by America’s leading hemp related legal firm and was a cannabis compliance solution. Simplifiya provides as its name hints, simple tools to help ensure business compliance across the industry in order to protect your license, company and investment! They have been featured in Entrepreneur, Cannabis Business Times and more with great reviews across the board.
Wollstra Tech planned on attending a few exhibitions in the US and wanted to promote their brand to potential customers. They particularly wanted to target potential canna-tech buyers in the areas where CannaTech was constitutionally legalised such as; Alaska, California, Colorado, Maine, Massachusetts, Nevada and Washington.
We stepped in and sorted them out with Google and Facebook digital marketing solutions and also carried out a nifty geofencing campaign to help them target specific audiences. All in all, it was a cool campaign to look back on and a very progressive one, to say the least.
